Deus ex 202210/6/2023 ![]() So while it's very possible to complete most achievements in one playthru in a timely fashion, by doing so, you are missing out on a lot of other content. Deus Ex Tomb Raider, Deus Ex Remakes and Remasters Could Come to PS5, PS4 The Legacy of Kain, too by Sammy Barker Fri 20th May 2022 The rapidly expanding holding company Embracer Group. However, certain styles of gameplay will uncover more content that a game has to offer as opposed to just getting thru the game as fast as possible. There is no "right way" to play especially a single player game. But my version of fun is different from others. So, I take my time and play for fun, not to get thru a game as fast as possible. But the reward for doing that is finding new areas with some additional content and loot that many players will never find. I might spend hours trying to figure out how to get to the top of a building or an area that seems inaccessible. You're either playing for achievements or you're exploring every nook and cranny in the game trying to find everything a game has to offer in the way of hidden areas and places that are difficult to access. In my experience (which is probably different from others) Playing for achievements minimizes the exploration aspect of a game making it hard to do both on 1 playthru. I don't need to kill 50 npc's with only a knife or (or whatever the achievement is). I don't play for achievements because to me they seem pointless. My 2nd playthru was only about 30 hours or so because I explored the entire game the first playthru. I have played thru the game twice and after finishing EVERY side quest on my first playthru I played one more time just because I enjoyed the game world so much. Because the "I Never Asked For This" difficulty can only be unlocked by finishing the game and then playing it again on that setting. Because you did not play thru the game on the hardest difficulty. You can face palm yourself with your cringe comments )įace palm indeed. I finished the game in the maximum difficulty in 30hours, while YOU have less side missions done than me in 140hours on normal difficulty lmfao im crying right now I suggest you to check my achievements and you will see that i did barely every side quests, only few are missing because i did not find them What's the point? They've missed so many of the best parts of the story. To be fair that's barely playing the game at all, and without doing any side missions. I’ll let you know as soon as we hear more.Originally posted by Ez Duzit: Dated March 31stĭated April 2nd and with less then 30 hours gameplay. Some staff from the shuttered Onoma, who developed the mobile game Deus Ex Go, will move to Eidos Montreal to work on projects there.Įidos Montreal, which remains intact, canceled the Stranger Things-inspired "kids on bikes" game that was rumored recently. It emerged yesterday that the studio formerly known as Square Enix Montreal will close, only a few weeks after the studio announced its rebranding as Onoma. As I reported last month, Legacy Of Kain devs Crystal Dynamics have already been surveying to glean potential interest in new games in that series.Įmbracer bought a batch of Square Enix studios back in May, a deal that was completed in August. The development studio’s new owner, Embracer Group, said earlier this year that they saw “great potential” in more games in the Deus Ex series, as well as other acquired IP such as Tomb Raider and Legacy Of Kain. It’s been six years since Eidos Montreal’s last stab at Deus Ex, so it feels like there’s been a decent length of time between that and any new take on the series. ![]() Eidos Montreal are also alleged to be working on a completely new game, as well as helping out with some co-development on some Microsoft-owned series, including the new Fable. The snippet of info that the new Deus Ex game is in the very, very early stages was reported by Bloomberg following yesterday’s revelation that sister studio Onoma is closing down. A return to the cyberpunk world of Deus Ex is coming courtesy of Human Revolution and Mankind Divided developers Eidos Montreal, it’s been claimed.
